The Community Health Workers of Nevada is a statewide association founded in 2015 to link CHWs. The mission of this group is to increase access to healthcare for all persons, increase acceptance into the healthcare system, and increase patient advocacy and education through CHWs.

The Community Health Worker Texas Association provides a link via CHWs to improve healthcare access. The CHWs work in association with local healthcare professionals to meet these goals. This association works in collaboration with the Texas Area Health Education Center in an effort to improve community-wide health outcomes.

The Community Health Worker Initiative of Maine was founded in 2013 in response to the emerging field of CHW. It focuses on building community knowledge of CHWs and their role in the healthcare system.

Website for the Community Health Training Institute, an organization offering trainings addressing health equity, policy and systems change, youth development, and other topics to those involved in community health. The Training Institute is the product of a partnership between Massachusetts Department of Public Health and Health Resources in Action.

The Colorado Patient Navigator and Community Health Worker Collaborative is a statewide platform for CHWs. It focuses on defining training of both patient navigators and CHWs in an effort to define their specified roles within the healthcare system. It also focuses on developing methods for private and public health insurance reimbursement of CHWs.

CHW Network of NYC’s mission is to advance the CHW practice through education, advocacy, and research, while preserving the identity and character of CHW. Includes CHW history, job listings, training information, publications, news, and events.

CHW Central is an online community of practice that brings together program managers, experts, practitioners, researchers, and supporters of CHW programs. The website is a virtual meeting place to share resources and experiences and to discuss and develop questions and ideas on CHW programs and policy.

The Community Health Worker Program was developed within the Association for Utah Community Health. This program works in close collaboration with statewide healthcare facilities and providers to improve community health. As of 2014, this program linked five CHWs within the state of Utah to provide professional support and networking opportunities.
