A community health worker model to address childhood asthma : perspectives of program participants

A report analyzing the impact of a community health worker-led program intended to address the impact of the home environment on childhood asthma. The program contributed to a reduction in use of emergency services and night-time awakenings, as well as successful advocacy for improved housing conditions. The evaluation includes feedback from primary caregivers who participated in the intervention, as well as CHWs and residents.
