CISWH staff provided technical assistance to The Boston Public Health Commission in two distinct areas related to the sustainability of Massachusetts (MA) Linking Actions for Unmet Needs in Children’s Health (Project LAUNCH) and Young Children’s Health Interventions for Learning and Development (MYCHILD) programs. The first area was the development of strategies to maximize reimbursement available to program sites in the context of current policy. The second was the development of a business case for the model in a future environment that is presumed to involve reimbursement for a defined set of bundled primary health services. The technical assistance aims to provide better resources and strategies to sustain programs focused on infant and early childhood mental health initiatives.

Project Impact

Technical assistance results identified financing and reimbursement sustainability strategies for children’s system of care initiatives such as the Massachusetts (MA) Linking Actions for Unmet Needs in Children’s Health (Project LAUNCH) and Young Children’s Health Interventions for Learning and Development (MYCHILD).
