Through a collaboration with Makerere University’s Social Work program, CISWH offers trauma-informed training for faculty, staff, and social workers from non-governmental organizations and community agencies working with refugees, survivors of war, and human trafficking (from Congo, Somalia, Burundi, and other countries). This collaboration offers opportunities for social work and public health internship sites, leadership initiatives in global health, and research and evaluation for faculty and M.S.W. and Ph.D. students.
