Project CAATCH

Project CAATCH Center staff are working with four Massachusetts Health Centers to engage 70 women and young adults who are HIV + and have fallen out of care. This initiative, funded by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MA DPH) and the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), promotes the development of an enhanced model to locate and engage women and young adults who were not fully engaged in HIV primary care or who were experiencing difficulties in achieving viral suppression. To achieve this goal, we are working with the MA DPH staff and the clinic coordinators to design a curriculum to train and support staff and peers in working with the target population to engage and retain this high risk group. In addition, the implementation of this intervention will be evaluated to determine the impact on the target population and engagement in HIV primary care.
